Green Chemical
Green Chemical provides manufacturing technologies for bioplastics and high value-added products as alternatives to petroleum-derived materials. Through joint research with the Tokyo Institute of Technology and Tohoku University, an innovative catalyst and production technology have been developed to produce high-purity HMF from sugars derived from non-edible biomass. HMF is expected to serve as a building block for pharmaceuticals, functional foods, and for FDCA and BAF, which are raw materials for PEF.
