Hitlab

Hitlab uses patented Dynamic Hit Scoring (DHS) technology for emerging or re-emerging artists to get discovered and connect directly with the fans who love their great new music. In the Hitlab, artists, fans, and music lovers from around the world can all unite! Hitlab is a tech media company striving to create exciting new ways for fans and artists to better connect musically and computationally, using advanced pattern matching technology. Hitlab has partnerships with The Recording Academy (THE GRAMMYs), and world-renowned singer and producer, Akon. THE EMERGING ARTIST COMPETITION Hitlab is beginning its third annual Emerging Artist Competition with the Grammy Awards, now for both singers and bands. In February 2013, Hitlab completed its second Emerging Artist Competition with the Grammy Awards, where 10 artists were chosen from a total of 3,000 artists that submitted over 10,000 songs. This is an international music talent contest that provides a path to discovery for emerging independent artists. The winning artist and one runner up perform during an official GRAMMY Week event, walk the red carpet, attend the show, and more. Hitlab is working on a new derivative of its technology that is compressing the long-tail even further, but enabling a much younger artist base - singers with no bands - to participate in the upcoming Grammys for next year.
