Venios
Venios GmbH has been developing innovative software solutions since 2012, especially for the efficient handling of new challenges in energy supply. The base technology of the Venios – the Venios Energy Platform (VEP) – allows the spatio-temporal analysis of electrical energy systems. The Venios system is designed for the massive parallel processing of various data sources and models (big data). In addition to the possibility of metrological recording of the network area, analyzes of local generation and local consumption can also be generated via modeling approaches using secondary data sources. Load flows can be modeled and calculated in conjunction with existing or derived information on the topology and equipment of the local network, as well as graphically prepared and provided by means of a Geo Information System (GIS). The Venios has received several awards for its innovative approaches. Current findings from their own research and development are regularly presented and published. The majority of the Venios staff consists of PhD graduates, physics, engineering and computer science. Et al PhD student Dr.rer.nat. C. Köhler in the field of coupling real and simulated complex systems.
