Community College of Vermont
Community College of Vermont prides itself on accessibility. The school maintains a dozen campuses throughout the state, so wherever you are in Vermont, there’s a CCV campus within 25 miles. Together, these campuses offer nearly 30 associate’s degree and certificate programs. Most of these programs are professionally oriented, in subjects like Allied Health, Hospitality and Emergency Management. However, the college also provides support for students wishing to transfer to a four-year school, which many CCV students end up doing. Cost of tuition is always a factor in attending college, but CCV tries to lessen the burden through a variety of financial aid opportunities. Federal grants and loans, VA benefits and institutional scholarships are all great ways to finance your education. CCV also offers a payment plan if you’d like to spread your tuition payments over time. Community College of Vermont follows an open admissions policy. Semesters begin in January, May and September, and you’re welcome to apply for whichever you choose. If you’re interested in pursuing a specific degree or certificate program, additional admissions requirements may apply.
