ParkiFi

ParkiFi is making parking less of a hassle with their real-time parking occupancy and payment platform. Approximately one out of three cars on the road in downtown Denver is actively looking for a parking spot. Finding that spot takes an average of fifteen minutes of avoidable driving. It was created to take this stress out of people’s lives and reduce the environmental impact of driving. With the ParkiFi app, users simply input an address into the real-time parking map and the app’s parking spot finder directs them to open spaces in garages and lots and automatically allows users to pay for parking via the app at select locations. Metered street parking will be added in 2017. The iOS and Android app launched in downtown Denver in November 2016 and will roll out in other Denver neighborhoods and nationwide in 2017. ParkiFi was recognized as a 2016 “Denver Gazelles” company by the Denver Office of Economic Development. The company has raised $13.5 million in venture capital to-date. It is a Denver-based technology company founded in 2014 by Ryan Sullivan and Rishi Malik in response to a critical insight into downtown traffic.
