A high-ranking school, Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington, offers an education that is governed by the Catholic philosophy of cura personalis, which translates as education of the whole person. Students do more than just read books and write papers. They engage in creative activities, contemplation and recreation, examine the relationships between science and art, and participate in social and religious activities.
