It became the precursor of its sister Internet-exclusive radio network, Heartland Newsfeed Radio Network (est. December 31, 2018), the Heartland Newsfeed Podcast Network (est. July 1, 2019). It spurred the founding of its parent company in 2020. Currently, Heartland Newsfeed covers a wide variety of news, including local news from 41 counties across central and southern Illinois and 23 counties in eastern Missouri along the Mississippi River Valley.
