Pryntd is an accessibility first platform providing AI powered infrastructure for inclusive hybrid and shared reality experiences. We help venues, organisers, creators and audiences overcome the fragmentation of technologies, processes and data that currently limits participation, compliance and commercial scale. Our journey began by addressing exclusion in immersive media. Early VR and XR experiences were inaccessible to most people, constrained by expensive hardware, closed ecosystems and inaccessible creation tools. Pryntd set out to fix this by making the creation, distribution and hybridisation of immersive experiences accessible through native browsers on smartphones, tablets, computers, TVs and AR and VR devices. We enabled existing 2D content, including landscape music videos and live performances, as well as recorded and live feeds from smartphone cameras, DSLRs, fisheye, panoramic, 3D, VR and 360 cameras, to become immersive experiences. By integrating these formats into unified workflows, Pryntd supported multidimensional and multimodal experiences and introduced contextual interactivity in 4D, allowing audiences to engage based on time, space and behaviour. By centring the human experience rather than the technology, this work evolved into a 5D approach focused on presence, accessibility and inclusion. Today, Pryntd applies this 5D accessibility infrastructure to address the core accessibility challenge globally: exclusion from physical and hybrid spaces. In the UK alone, there are around 16 million disabled people, with an estimated 9.4 million feeling excluded from live or hybrid events. Globally, over 1 billion people live with a disability, and the majority report barriers to participation due to inconsistent access provision and fragmented systems. Venues and organisers face disconnected accessibility tools, manual processes and increasing regulatory pressure, resulting in inconsistent delivery and lost audiences. Pryntd uses agentic AI to autonomously manage accessibility workflows across physical and digital environments, while autonomous rights management handles permissions, attribution and accessibility adaptations dynamically across formats, experiences and distribution channels. By bridging physical venues with digital layers, Pryntd enables people not only to feel present, but to be physically present in shared reality. The same infrastructure supports immersive training, planning and simulation, unlocking applications across education, healthcare, culture and other sectors where accessibility is both a legal requirement and a significant growth opportunity. Starting with music and live events, Pryntd is building foundational accessibility infrastructure that unifies performance, audience and commerce, helping organisations reduce operational friction, expand participation and deliver inclusive experiences at scale.
